What is it?
The cavitation procedure uses an ultrasonic device and is calibrated to only target the fat cells. When the ultrasonic waves are directed to the area of fatty tissue you want to remove, it destroys the fat tissue cell membrane without causing damage to any of your other surrounding body tissue or organs. The following days after your cavitation procedure you will secrete the destroyed fatty tissue through your stool and urine. During your session, we also use radio frequency to tighten your skin on your targeted area.
Who is it for?
To take advantage of body contouring, you must be over 18 years old and not have any health conditions that may be contraindicated by cavitation or radiofrequency including diabetes, heart conditions, cancer, or any metal in your body.
What to expect
You can be measured before and after your session to record any changes during the session. The session is painless however you may hear a ringing noise in your ears from the vibration of the ultrasonic waves. The session may last anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes. You may see a change of up to 3 inches per session. Although you may see results in one session, it's recommended to plan for 4-8 sessions for optimum results.
Aftercare
Please drink plenty of water before and after your session. It is recommended to drink half your body weight in ounces to help your body flush itself of the destroyed fatty tissue. Make sure you get at least 30 minutes of exercise daily after your session to keep your blood and lymphatic system circulating. We also recommend wearing a waist trainer or a hip/waist trainer, both of which are available for purchase in our lobby. It's also best to adopt a healthy diet of your choosing. We do not recommend any particular diet because all bodies are different and what may work for one may not work for another.
