Jewels of Detroit was founded upon a community of people who have a love and passion for the art of poetry and spoken word. JOD looks to break poetry into a mainstream realm by introducing it in festival format for MAP fest, giving poets, lyricists, and emcees alike a chance to be put on the MAP.
