what is the after care for toxins?



After treatment with any neurotoxin, you will want to remain upright for 4 hours, avoid make up for 2 hours, and avoid vigorous exercise for 24 hours.



how long does it take for toxin to work? How long does it last?



Jeuveau and Dysport tend to take effect sooner - 2-7 days, Botox takes effect 7-10 days. Full effects are seen 2 weeks post treatment. The duration of treatment is patient specific, average duration is about 3 months.​



does filler hurt?



Dermal filler can be uncomfortable. However we provide topical numbing cream to make your treatment easy and pain free.



how long will i peel after a chemical peel?



Typically 7-10 days, with days 3-5 being the most intense.​



Can I combine treatments?



Absolutely! One of our favorite treatments , called GlowTox is a combination chemical peel and neurotoxin - this addresses complexion and fine lines in one easy visit.



how long before a peel should i stop retinol?



Stop all retinol products 3 days prior to your peel. If you used Accutane, you need to wait 6 months prior to most treatments.





Are Chemical peels safe for darker skin



Yes! We chose to offer VI peels as they are safe to use on all skin types, Fitzpatrick scale 1-6



What is the recovery for microneedling?



Immediately after your microneedling procedure your face will be red and inflamed, the next day you may look like you have a light sun burn and may have some light peeling of the skin, most patients feel comfortable enough to go to work. We recommend avoiding work outs for 24 hours post treatment. ​The following days your skin will look brighter and smoother than ever!




will i break out after a peel?



Sometimes. Purging can occur days 3-7 after your peel. Chemical peels are designed to clear out dirt, debris and pollutants from your skin. Then you will be left with a beautiful clear complexion.



Can I get a peel if i have a beard



We do not do a chemical peel over facial hair. We can do the peel around your beard, or you can shave prior to your peel.​



How often do i need a chemical peel?



Typically, we recommend 3 treatments 4 weeks apart for active treatment. Then 4 chemical peels a year, at the end of each season. Each season has its own allergens and pollutants, and it is important to clear those out and avoid build up.
