Art

As a graphic designer, I specialize in creating logos, websites, wallpapers, and social media posts. My artistic journey also embraces chalk pastels and various painting mediums, primarily acrylic, while experimenting with everything from spray paint to nail polish for unique effects. My canvases often incorporate unconventional materials, such as auto tint sheeting.

I’m particularly drawn to abstract designs—especially spirals—but I also have a deep passion for flowers and eyes. My artistic inspiration stems from a diverse range of influences, including Jackson Pollock, Banksy, Andy Warhol, Celtic symbols, and the ethereal music of Lana Del Rey. I believe in finding beauty in the breakdown, a philosophy that I carry with me, even tattooed on my skin.

During quarantine, painting became my therapeutic outlet, helping me navigate feelings of isolation and the challenges of technology-related frustrations, including Long Covid and unreliable internet connections.

photography

As a bar consultant and social media manager, I picked up some photography skills when shooting food and beverage pics. My photos are shot on a Samsung Galaxy S20, LG Stylo 5, or Moto G Stylus 5. The native app on my Galaxy is pretty solid for editing, but I also use PicsArt, Pixlr, and a few other apps, if I edit at all. I enjoy capturing extreme closeups, street art, food/beverage, skylines, trees, flowers, clouds, city life, unusual self-portraits, and of course, my 2 rescue dogs, Ciara and Ruby. I like interesting, but not forced, juxtapositions. Enjoy browsing the photos I am uploading here.
