Community Support

Life threatening medical conditions,emergencies and special medical care are burdensome to the locals due to unavailable services and cost of going to another town. We try to raise the funds and personally take the patients to the required practitioner for consult and assist in costs for medications and surgical procedures

The Island receives about 20 storms/year. Most of them are benign, however, the last several storms were strong enough to threaten lives and damage properties. Our facility is recognized as an evacuation area. We also provide support for rebuilding thru several ministry partners from Canada.

Many families cannot afford much of what we take for granted during the HOLIDAYS — toys, treats, special food. Strong Roots Ministry PROVIDE Christmas hampers filled with the delights and necessities that make the season MAGICAL for families in need.
